Every event we host is built on kindness, safety, and love. Children meet local Deputies, Police Officers, Firefighters, and First Responders in a positive, uplifting way — discovering that behind every badge is a heart that truly cares.

For many children across Ventura County — especially those who are hurting, scared, or facing challenges — a Sonny Boy plushy becomes a symbol of comfort. When a Sheriff's Deputy, Police Officer, Firefighter, or First Responder hands them this soft Sonny horse, a bond forms instantly.
These moments remind our kids that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Our plush Sonny Boy horses carry the same badges worn by our Sheriff Deputies, Police Officers and Firefighters — showing children that law enforcement is here to protect, support, and love them.
More than 8,000 children have received these plushies, each one delivered by a deputy, officer, or firefighter with a warm smile and a reassuring message: “We’re here for you.”
