SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS PROGRAMS

It was an honor to present the Sonny Horses 4 Heroes Award for the month of April to Deputy Probation, Officer Roxana Rosales of Ventura County Probation Agency in the category of Dedication to Service and Advocacy for Youth and Families.

The defining strength of DPO Rosales is her steadfast advocacy on behalf of her clients. She works tirelessly to ensure they receive the services, resources, and opportunities they deserve. Weather coordinating care, or speaking on their behalf of families who may feel overwhelmed, she remains steadfast in her commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.

What truly sets DPO Rosales apart is her deeply compassionate nature. She brings warmth, kindness, and genuine character to her work every day. Clients and colleagues alike recognize her as someone who not only fulfills her personal responsibilities with excellent excellence, but also goes above and beyond to make a meeningful difference in peoples lives.

SONNY HORSES 4 KIDS - SONNY HORSES 4 HEROES is excited for our Ventura County community to nominate  outstanding individual, Deputy Probation, Officer Roxana Rosales of Ventura County Probation agency who represents the best in all of us. 

The Sonny Horses 4 Heroes program is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers and first responders who selflessly serve our community. As a proud part of the Sonny Horses 4 Kids initiative, this program not only honors our heroes but also helps foster meaningful connections between our children and the first responders of Ventura County.

We invite the community to take part by nominating outstanding officers and first responders who exemplify the highest standards of service, integrity, and compassion. Each month, Sonny Boy, the Sonny Horses 4 Kids team, and senior department leadership review the nominations and select one deserving hero to receive this distinguished honor.

Honorees are recognized with a commemorative plaque and a dinner at the restaurant of their choice, as a small but heartfelt way to say thank you for going above and beyond in service to others.
